So I have been feeling down these last couple of days, people can be very cruel and I'm not great at letting it bounce off. Am determined to be a stronger person though and continue on my journey of becoming someone I would admire. Still strong people still need treats and the week before pay day I'm low on funds so took myself to the pound shop on the hunt for bargains and boy was I rewarded

Revlon 'mix & mingle' in 270 tango with mango and 265 hello honey. So pretty! Both of them for £1.

And Sally Hansen nail polish in 14 spectrum and 06 digital.

Anyone else found any bargains recently???

Thursday's outfit

Well it's Thursday already, where is the week going? I've been online shopping a bit lately so I have a few outfits to show off. Also excited for my new tablet that I'm getting delivered Saturday, will make blogging a lot easier, it's been hard work on my little HTC!

Moving on with outfit of the day though, completely from my favourite store, Dorothy Perkins. I got the skinny jeans just before Christmas they're a great fit, not too low so I don't have to be constantly pulling them up, long length leg and only £15. Bargain. Top was from my recent haul in the sale for about £7 goes perfectly with my new MUA make up :)

Tuesday's outfit

It's  Tuesday, which is one of the worst days work wise. Still so much of the week ahead and now you have got through sort your crap out Monday, it actually means you have to deal with your crap.

So to counter that feeling I have a full face of make up, little grey mini skirt - River Island. Black long t-shirt - Primark and black brogues - Peacocks.

These brogues are actually a little thin soled but I've seen some great ones in the dp sale which I'm gonna pick up.

Off on a tangent slightly, am having friends round Saturday night for a girly night, other than face masks and nails and obviously red wine, what else I i entertain with? Any ideas?

So I haven't had a good shop for a while since changing jobs, my new work is a bit out of town so no lunchtime browsing for me these days. Luckily we're moving offices back to Snow Hill end of the month. Phew.

Anyhow after work and because the weekends snow had prevented me from any Ifti time I decided to pop into town and wait for him to say hi. It would of been rude not to have a little browse so above is what I came back with.

My bargains:

MUA intense glitter eyeliner in Jade Jewel £1

MUA pearl eyeshadow £1. Both for trying out the Rhianna look from Tanya Burrs video.

Heart on your sleeve Dry Shampoo 99p perfect for my fringe when I've been playing about with it during the day, it's that little bit long at the moment so I'm constantly pushing out my eyes!

Superdrug foundation brush -£3.99 I havent seen any reviews of these brushes? Has anyone tried them?

Beverley Hills Dentists choice - £1.69. Meant to be good for your gums, I read recently that sensitive teeth is often caused by brushing incorrectly and too hard so the gum is moved away from teeth which allows sensitivity. Hoping will help prevent this and make my teeth white!

Talking of white teeth I really to get mine done anyone had it done? Any recommendations?

Saturday night in

Well it's official I'm snowed in on a Saturday night on my own. Decided to treat myself to face mask and bath but all my local chemist had was

Montagne Jeunesse Virgin Oil £1, I also had my Asda Sweet Geranium candles £1 for three

so that and a super hot bath and I'm feeling properly relaxed and cleansed. You can't get cheaper than that for a budget night in :)

So this is what I ended up looking like instead of the planned full face of make up, false eyelashes and waved hair. Will have to save that for next week. I'm not the only one who has had a nice relax tonight.

Hi! So here's a proper hello and to tell you a little about myself. Well I'm Cherry (Liz in real life) I picked up the Cherry from when I used to play roller derby, my alter ego and thought I would stick with it. 



Am 29, 2012 will be my 30th year and I've made a lot of changes in life recently. Have swapped jobs, paid off debt and just generally grown up a hell of a lot. I'm sure I'll elaborate on that some point in the future. I guess it all boils down to I'm starting to be myself and make my own decisions and not just follow the pack. So if I want to spend my Saturday evening watching Girl Interrupted then I will!

Fashion wise my roots lie in my goth/rock days so I still wear far too much eyeliner and leopard print. Also love the 40s/50s though my face lends itself better to 60s styles.

When I was younger I had plenty of time for fashion and make up but with all the debt repaying and what not these past years I've fallen behind. So I'm here to reignite that passion and hopefully meet some likeminded people along the way!

I love being treated, so was very happy tonight when my lovely boyfriend came round and brought with him the ingredients for goats cheese tarts. Yum. Food is definitely the way to my heart :)

OK, so I am start with giving you an insight to my beauty routine at the moment. Yes it's a mess. I havent had much money to invest in beauty products these last few years and am finally feeling with a new job that I am in a position (and deserve) to treat myself a little more :)
